Skin Care Routine

Skin Care Routine

A skincare routine can vary depending on your skin type, concerns, and preferences, but here's a basic routine that can serve as a starting point. Remember to adjust it as needed to suit your specific needs:

Morning Routine:

  1. Cleanser: Start your day with a gentle cleanser to remove any impurities that may have built up overnight. This will also prepare your skin for the following steps. Virgo Jelly Cleanser

  2. Toner: Apply a hydrating and pH-balancing toner to replenish moisture and prep your skin for better absorption of the next products. Jasmine Green Tea Toner

  3. Serum: Use a serum targeted to your specific concerns. For example, if you have fine lines, consider a serum with antioxidants. If you have dark spots, a brightening serum may be beneficial. Amplify your skin’s plumpness, hydration, and softness with a few drops of  Virgo Jelly Serum. (To also help smooth the look of fine lines and wrinkles, blend a few drops of your Virgo Jelly Serum with a few drops of Luna Retinol-Alternative Serum.)

  4. Vitamin C :  Diffuse some vitamin c serum in your morning routine  TumeriC Serum.
  5. Moisturizer: Apply a lightweight, hydrating moisturizer to lock in moisture and provide a protective barrier for your skin. Virgo Moisture Cream

  6. Sunscreen: Finish your morning routine with a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 to protect your skin from UV damage. Even on cloudy days, UV rays can harm your skin.

Evening Routine:

  1. Makeup Removal/Cleansing: If you wear makeup, start with a makeup remover or cleansing oil to thoroughly remove it. Follow up with your regular cleanser.Virgo Jelly Cleanser

  2. Toner: Just like in the morning routine, apply a toner to balance your skin's pH and prepare it for the next steps.Jasmine Green Tea Toner

  3. Treatment/Serum: Use a treatment or serum that addresses your specific skin concerns. This is a good time to use products with active ingredients like retinol or glycolic acid (if recommended by a dermatologist).

  4. Eye Cream: Apply an eye cream if you have concerns like dark circles or puffiness.

  5. Moisturizer: Use a slightly heavier moisturizer in the evening to provide ample hydration and support your skin's overnight repair processes.

  6. Optional: Face Oil: If your skin is on the drier side, consider adding a nourishing face oil to lock in moisture.

Weekly or Bi-Weekly Treatments (as needed):

  1. Exfoliation: Incorporate exfoliation with a gentle chemical exfoliant (like an AHA or BHA) or a physical exfoliant (like a scrub) once or twice a week, depending on your skin's tolerance. Rainbow Mask

  2. Face Mask: Use a face mask that suits your skin type and concerns. Options include hydrating masks, clay masks for deep cleansing, or sheet masks for a quick moisture boost. Pink Clay Mask

Remember, consistency is key in skincare. Be patient and give your products time to work, and always patch-test new products to avoid potential allergies or irritations. Additionally, consider consulting with a dermatologist or skincare professional for personalized recommendations tailored to your unique skin needs.
